Also,i find this site confusing sometimes...When i joined,i looked back at the old threads, and assumed if i clicked on the last entry, all entries would come up.Not always the case. The Guido's saga springs to mind...(That was a good un!)No biggie really, you just have to click on lots more entries in the longer threads. Why dont they always run in order? Not a criticism.Mr Webmaster.Sir.Please can we have a chat room.Zola.PS.Is it expensive to sort one out??

How can you feel "exposed" expat when you don't use your real name and no-one knows who you are?
A thread will spit when someone explictly replies to a post within a thread (starting a threadlet) rather than posting to the last post in the thread. This can be seen when viewing the forum home page by a lack of indent of that post.
Personally I'd prefer a normal forum where users register and log in, creating a profile, and the threads with the latest posts were ranked at the top... but not many others (including the webmaster) seem to agree with this point of view.
I doubt if a chat applet would work as there are just not enough people in this forum online at the same time. The vast majority of times anyone visited it there'd be no-one else there.

Thanks MC. Im getting used to it,just takes a bit of time...I agree about the forum ideas.Im not talking about 'Live Chat',im not quick enough on the keyboard for that,(and i prefer to use the phone)Im talking about what we have here already, where people dip in and out when they are able. And most website forums have a clear list of rules!! No swearing, fighting, sniping etc.At least i would have known that my Talk Talk thread was a no no coz it wasnt a Lewes thread...Best leave it as it is eh.Still a good forum, and very entertaining at times. Also, not exactly sure why,but i never put my real name on any forums i go on.Not many people do to be honest....Safety mabe?

Anyway(sorry to multi post) I spent time on Lewes Online, til i stumbled on this one...I thought it was ok...but not too many people seemed to use it.And how come on the Google page on Lewes,Lewes Online were right there at the top on the right hand side!!Where were we? A few entries down on the left.We should be on top.Coz we are better than them!I suppose money is involved?

OK MC, the names Jackie. I suppose exposed was not quite the right word, but fearful of veering away from the subject too far. Not acceptable by some.

Must admit, I like a good film at home after a long working week. only thing that beats it, is if I'm seeing my belloved on that night, much nicer then. Errrrr, guess that sounds a bit squishy. I don't care.

Sex has always been squishy... and often squelchy.
Still, I'd prefer a film.

I like to stuff my face on Friday night and watch tv into the small hours and then bring up what I had gorged on all evening. Great stuff.
