Don't suppose anyone here can recommend someone to put up a garden fence? I'm just looking for someone who knows what they're doing and isn't too expensive.
I did it myself, but it looks rubbish and has just about blown down, so time for someone who knows what they're doing to have a go!

Have you got any more details eg type and size of panels, will the posts need concreteing in, how many panels, is the garden on a slope or flat ?.....it might be a bit easier to work something out then.

Not sure of the exact sizes or types, but they're fairly standard wood panels (the type of things you pick up at B&Q, they could be Franche panels I think). They are about 9 panels in all, I'd guess 1.8*2.4 metres tall. The garden's on a slope, and they need to be as strong as possible as they get hit by a nasty crosswind. I did concrete them in myself, but it hasn't worked that well!
Sorry to be vague, but am at work and can't remember the details exactly...

If they are just going into earth you could try using MetaPosts rather than concrete. They are a lot easier to use, just bang them in and slot the posts into them.

Please dont think I'm suggesting you are old but as a point of reference I think 'help the aged' keep a list of reputable local workmen. May not necessarily be cheap but fair and trustworthy - may be worth checking out.

So, how old are you then Madge. Call any skilled TRADESMAN a 'workman' and you'll soon get told what you can do with your job. I seem to remember my grandmother using the that word.
