Did you see that tw*t from the Falmer pub on the telly last night moaning about the yellow lines?
It was the rich b**gers who live there who wanted the lines to stop the students parking and now they are kicking off.
The sooner the stadium is built and the gangs of marauding thugs burn the village to the ground the better.

DYL has a point. The same happened with the speed bumps along Southover High Street.
Don't agree with the end of the post though.
Yes to Falmer, No to the stupidity of the thugs. If any thing happens to the residents of Falmer after the stadium is built, They should just close the stadium. Little bit childish, but if grown ups want to trash a village, treat them like kids.

He is indeed a tw*t. I L'dMFAO when he got done for not having planning permission when he hoisted a 'No To Falmer Stadium" flag.
I hope that the first programme sold at the new ground, whenever it happens, advises the faithful to boycott the pub before and after matches.
I don't understand why Falmer residents don't just move if they don't like it. Actually I do, its because their property might not solicit the same equity profits as other folk. Thus, its about their money.

Yes it is ep, the very same reason you cashed in on Lewes and moved to foreign lands, money. Though as much as you like to tell us all how wonderful your new life is I doubt that you're happy there. After all, you can't take your friends and family with you, and judging by the frequency of your posts here Lewes is still where you want to be. You'll be back when your nose drops off through skin cancer to use our NHS.

Actually you moron, I moved out here because my family did. And yes it is wonderful, although I don't recall any posting to that effect.
I would have been back in the UK long since if my mother wasn't a long term cancer patient. Fortunately she's recovering well, the health sysytem here being streets ahead of the UKs collapsing, no - collapsed, NHS.
I do visit this site regularly, regular enough to keep a grip on whats on happening in the old country. Clearly I've totally missed the point of the forum - perhaps its meant only for local loners who can't cut it in the real world?
Get a life you whiney little schmuck.

A bit of support for expat 2. Of course there are things to be missed about Lewes. I miss my family horribly, hence I like to stay in touch, but I know I did the right thing, and I left all my family behind. I got a life and wouldn't move back to Lewes, but also like to stay on the button.
