I am interested to know what UKIP voters think about having voted for anti-corruption UKIP candidate Janice Atkinson, but getting instead a non-UKIP party MEP, who is an alleged EU expenses fiddler.

Interesting approach to fraud, Kipper.
Perhaps you could explain how the money she was falsely claiming was going to be repaid to those of us from whom it was stolen.

Yes. Exactly. the EU money isn't the property of greedy EU executives, it is our tax. And we agreed for honest politicians to have some of it for expenses, so that they can represent their electorate. It is alleged that Ms Atkinson's office were basically stealing it using fraud and spending it..... who knows how? Themselves, and their other interests, it seems. But it certainly wasn't being spent on was what we tax-payers provided it for , because that can only be paid for with legitimate expenses claims! What has she been doing with the rest?

What!!!!
You are defending alleged crime!
Is it OK if I burgle you house as long as I spend the money on some you would approve of?
That is our money, and could have been spent on us. It is alleged theft from money that other UKIP MEP's could have used instead.
and as if it matters , how do you know what this woman was allegedly spending this money on? it could have been anything unsavoury as far as any of us know.

however ,we do now know that at least 4 UKIP voting Forum Users endorse fraud. So if you are someone decent, concerned about immigration, but wondering about UKIP and who you might be getting involved with, yes, your worst fears about UKIP are being realised.

well I don't have a duck house. and as a taxpayer left poorer from that fiasco, I am now left poorer from UKIP's big name in teh South East doing exactly the same thing. So much for being 'the different' party. Just milking the taxpayer like evryone else. I simply cannot believe that anyone would defend this . Even Nigel Farage hasn't. Are you saying UKIP's leader is wrong!?

This thread is hilarious. ( UKIP supporters endorsing not only fraud, but failing to understand that claiming fraudulent expenses does not repatriate money) If this was so well handled, so quickly why did UKIP take let this women embarrass them in this way for so long. She had a record of criticising schools, by lying about her schooling, criticising benefit cheats...but failing to pay her husband her children's designated support payments, using racist language to describe a Thai woman, and now, seems to have been caught lying about her expenses. Well the money clearly wasn't going to her own children so where was it going?

How does Mr Farage save money by getting paid fousands and fousands to be in an EU parliament that he very rarely attends, and does not support? His voting record is as abysmal as his judgement in choosing Janice Atkinson to represent us alongside him.
