One thing about this EU issue which makes me laugh is the way left winger bait material is dreamt up by the extreme right who lead the Brexit cause .
I should imagine that when Gove and the invisible Farrage get together with the Mail to bang on about how its all a capitalist plot they can hardly stop giggling as they write it . It would be easy they are writing their own fantasies .
Brexit are not planning a socilalist utopia even if such a thing were possible , they are planning a Saxon Tiger to match Ireland and by "dynamic economy" they mean a a society where the old are left to their own devices and if you get sick you die.

I haven't read any left wing arguments from the Brexit right, so I don't know where you got that idea from. Their main argument has always been about free trade and sovereignty. Two of the most prominent anti-EU voices on the Left were Tony Benn and Bob Crow (yes Paul, that awful trade unionist), but sadly they died before this campaign began and many of my friends in the Labour Party are slavishly voting for Remain because they associate Brexit with Nigel and Boris.

It's up to the democratic will of the people after we leave Paul be that socialist, green, ukip or conservative however if we stay we will have more of the elite top down corporate neoliberalism from the eu.
One thing for sure if we stay in is our nhs will be dismantled into a eu wide private healthcare system , houses will be built all over our green spaces because of mass eu immigration far higher than the government is telling us and what's left of British culture will be destroyed as we are submerged within this new fascist Empire.
Who do you trust tony benn, skinner, foot, or Blair, Cameron and mandelson

I am aware of the attitudes of the quasi Communist branch of Old Labour E of L which were based on outright opposition to capitalism.
For people who feel he 20th century witnessed the triumph of the Soviet Planned Economy and the collapse of the Western Free Market model this will be of great importunate no doubt .

Yes,there is nothing more disgusting than seeing right wing ideologues like Gove and IDS and Johnson shedding crocodile tears about the plight of the poor and needy under the supposedly terrible EU.It sickens me and most of my left wing friends to our socialist stomachs. These extreme Tories are the same ones that refer to our basic worker`s rights as "red tape"!

Have you finally cracked, PN? What on earth does "of great importunate" mean?

Eeeerm either it was freshly coined derivation of the verb importune and meant one who asks persistently or a typo of ‘importance’.
Quite agree Corbynista “red tape” , “dynamic economy” “flexible work force “………..all mean ”exploitation”. I don`t think it is right for the country and I actually don`t think a low value work force is a viable way forward for the economy either.

All I can say about the good that has come from this referendum is that at last the people of Britain are being forced into into an honest debate about the direction we are travelling in. It seems to me that we have been sleep walking for the last 20 years or so. This is a genuinely non-partisan point, but time to wake up, either way.

It does tickle me that people think they actually have a choice, a choice to vote in an election setup by a system that allowed, for example, Hillsborough to fester for 27 years. It's a joke. How many people do you know that voted Conservative in 2015? I bet you don't. Someone did though, didn't they?

Dear Paul. Even at this late hour, I have to write to tell you that you are a complete and utter embarrassment to the traditional Conservative movement. Please stop passing your bipolar wind and writing it down as fact. I guess please isn't good enough for a nutter such as you though?
