Donna Edmunds, UKIP facebook page.

Earlier this week, I blocked someone from this page as I suspected that he was using the information on here to attack me elsewhere. Amusingly, I've just been told that he's changed his profile banner photo to mine, with the line "Donna Edmunds loves fracking in Sussex" running across it. Amusing because in fact I *do* like fracking, in Sussex or anywhere else in this country (love is probably too strong a word). Cheap, unobtrusive energy sources under our feet? Who wouldn't like that? Let's get fracking!

It's not cheap as we have been led to believe, as the Americans are beginning to find out (see link below)....
And of course ishale gas is considerably more expensive to extract ing the UK (one reason is that the UKs reserves are located much deeper down than those in the US) and then you factor in the environmental costs (especially when they are magnified by the concentration of wells into a densely populated area such as Sussex) it is anything but cheap, eand in fact xtremely expensive..... and impossible to clean up it up afterwards (unlike wind turbines for instance).
Fracking will give little but minor short term gains to the UK and it will devastate Sussex.

She doesn't mention that her Facebook header image of herself in front of Sussex beauty spot Cuckmere Haven now comes complete with fracking rigs!

Block 'someone', should read, 'the most recent person I blocked'. What this disturbed woman does't seem to understand is that when you are a politician, you cannot get upset when people quote what your publicly presented views. Symbolically 'erasing' them simply shows that you know you are weak, wrong, have been caught out, and do not like being exposed. Doing it as a'politician' is actually disturbing and creepy. How is If elected, how s Donna going to represent someone she will not allow to speak?
She is very keen to suppress people who disagree with her, but very slow to apologise and undo the damage , when she misrepresents other people, such as the latest episode in which she invented claims about two resigning Councillors. I sshe going to make all her comments based on gossip and presumption, which is what she admitted t doing, before hiding her admission.
Good luck to any of the other candidates in our little town by-election of all parties. That this woman is a candidate is disturbing, and even the UKIP party should be asking themselves why they are condoning her behaviour. A journals should be asking them. It reflects as badly on UKIP as it did when Donna was in the Tories, and made other inappropriate comments.
Voters deserve better than this.

The quality of candidates isn't what it used to be is it? I suppose half of them couldn't hold a 'proper' down on those salaries, it must be like X Factor for the vocally challenged ! It's definitely four NO's from me !!

I see she too is promoting the lie that fracking will lead to 'cheap' fuel.
I can't help wonder if she's just a moron housewife who believes everything the Daily Mail prints or if she's just promoting the idea in the full knowledge its a lie.

Donna Edmunds main drive is political ambition. She is long on Tea Party political ideology but short on general knowledge and facts.
