Not forgetting all the graffiti on the walls and windows in the town.Perhaps our tree hugging councillors and their no hope colleagues consider this to be "cultural".

We have a sweeper truck thingy doing its stuff pretty much every week (Town Centre) the big issue is the doggy doings which are at an all time high. If only dog lovers/owners would clear up after there 4 legged friends. Clearing up means binning it not just bagging it and throwing it in a bush. Bush bush in the bush, that's a song from the disco era isn't it??

I saw a guy picking up rubbish by hand outside Nero's this morning. He nearly smacked me in the face aimlessly waving his broom around

Good for you Taxman, that’s the spirit.
It is weird isn’t it, this is happening all over the UK - government slashes funding and the councils can’t seem to provide the same level of services. Who would have imagined?
Even Dave Cameron has formally complained to his own local council about their cutbacks going too far.

It's the same everywhere, nothing gets spent anymore. I went into Brighton on Saturday and was shocked by the state of the place. The trouble is it has a knock on effect and people no longer care for where they live.

Its expensive running three councils and a MP and a MEP, plus 2 Parliaments, one in London the other in Brussels. Attending half the worlds problems and looking after this place called Great Britain. Somethings got to give !!
