Bishops Butchers, Courts furniture shop, laundrette, Cliffe Books, The Ovens, Sussex Toys, Harper Ede, Culverwells, The Ark (wet fishshop), Big Bicycle and car spares shop where Bills is, Antique Bottle shop where roundabout is, Odeon cinema, Elphicks, Big Toy shop now Harveys shop, Old Intersport shop now Cook, Bee Clean dry cleaners, Stuart Morris kitchen showroom, Lewes TV, Radio Rentals, Bills Greengrocery, Beacon Press, Fish & Chip shop now charity shop next to bills, Friday Ad shop....plus more I can't remember.
If you include shops in Malling Street near church - Travel agent, car spares, Thackery's Restaurant, Steak House, Tweebeekes Restaurant, Antique lace shop, Natural Health Centre, Childrens Cloths shop, Yorkshire Bakery, Jonathan Hairdressers, Antique shop, Amaryllos Flowers.
Remember shops where the precint is - International Stores, Next, Post Office, Record Bar, John Menzies, Mears Fruit and Veg shop, Threshers off-licence, Julian Greaves, Robert Hill Shoes, Forfars.
Amazing when you think this is over the past 35 years and a few of them up until not so long ago.
