Cat hit by car on Nevill Rd

This morning there was a cat unfortunately struck by a car on Nevill Road which we found by the side of the road, it seemed ok and there was no obvious sign of injury but I think it was in shock. The cat is long haired, very fluffy black with white markings, I have taken a photo but don't know how to upload it on here? a kind lady and her daughter offered to take it to the emergency vet on Cliffe so I hope it will be ok. If anyone has any further updates I would like to know the cat was ok. thanks.
