Brexit secretary says it is not ‘plausible’ that British citizens would immediately take low skilled jobs. Brexiters - you've been had. Not only you'll pay a Brexit fee of billions, you'll still continue to see them forinners around. Bummer, innit? Some would even say you were warned about this.
low-skilled jobs.

The British peer who devised Article 50 - the formal procedure for leaving the EU - has warned Brexit risks hurting the poor while protecting the rich “Bullingdon boys”.
Lord Kerr said the country was still “in the dark” about what Theresa May’s plan for Britain outside the EU was.
“It is a fact that if we leave the European Union, our economic relationship with it will be less advantageous than it is now—that has to be a fact,” he told the House of Lords last night.

Your association between banning foreigners and brexit is an association made by you and people like you alone. Your deliberate misspelling of the word exposes you as a bigot categorizing anybody who may have a local accent as a person who may have voted for out. I'm sure you would have been more comfortable using the words the BBC taught you like "migrant" and "refugee" if you weren't trying a cheap swipe.
I've no idea what brexit will mean in 30 years anymore than you know what remain meant last year. Instead of working yourself up with your Facebook friends and bookmarks leave the heavy thinking to right minded people.

The country is totally totally ruined. Best case scenario, and this is admitted by many pro-Leave Tories, is us paying the EU £48bn over 6 years instead of the 25 we could have to service commitments we've already made, and also WTO rules which will mean £6bn a year additional cost to UK industry through import costs alone, plus a reduced market to trade in. On top of that we've almost certainly lost 12% of our economic output through damage to the city and the industries that depend on it. Couple that with a loss of EU labour, which is already happening across healthcare and agriculture, and companies willing to pay more to bring people in rather than employ low productivity / low skilled English people, and the cost of goods is only going one way.

Only the most narrow minded people or that very small elite who stand to benefit financially could think Brexit is worth it. Really you have to question whether those who support it actually like England and Britain. I suspect they don't because their actions are indefensible. The EU is imperfect but it's far better than the UK will be in 5 or even 25 years.

Or maybe a Brexiter can give a positive reason to leave? I still haven't heard one, just vague nonsensical comments about sovereignty that show a lack of understanding.

bored of brexit, You are so wrong on many fronts. Just a few points for you - Germanys second largest market is selling to the UK, they want us to have a decent trade deal, by the end of 2017 at least 1 (or 2) more countries will start the exit process, people movement will balance itself out pre EU UK was open to others and will remain so, etc etc etc. The Establishment does not want UK to exit as to stay protects their profiteering at the expense of the working people, that is why UK economic performance has exceeded BoE projections continually. It is not a disaster but an opportunity for development and growth.

The Truth you should rename yourself The Optimist. Germany will happily destroy our motor industry as that'll benefit them more than anything else - they'll make more from city trade moving (Lloyds already sounding out Frankfurt in preparation) and taking UK built cars out of competion than they do through trade with us. We are the 125th fastest growing economy in the world (behind business leaders like Dijibouti and Ivory Coast) and dropping down the table because we have relatively little to offer outside mutually beneficial EU deals. And what establishment doesn't want the UK to exit? A lot of Old Etonians and ex-stockbrokers are very keen. Perhaps ask yourself what they are gaining. I'll ask again: what opportunity is there to make it all worth it? I'm all ears. Tell me something tangible and provable by facts, not imaginary and hopeful.

Who knows what will happen? Nobody knows much for sure.
However, the whole "leaving europe will stop the rich/capitalists/establishment/liberal elite/conservative elite/whatever" getting rich at the expense of us regular folk is odd.
Why would membership or not of the EU change their attitude? It's just another set of changing circumstances which can be exploited by those with the means to do so, the "insert group you don't like here", while the rest of us who live regular lives will get the s####y end of the stick again whether we're left or right, socialist or conservative.
Inequalities grew during globalization and they will continue to grow under a more protectionist or nationalist world.
If you want a better, more equal life save the NHS and the education system from becoming any worse and campaign for a minimum tax rate on profits generated in the UK that applies to all people and organisations (hello to Facebook etc)

Bored of brexit, at least your own opening statement can be backed up by facts and tangible evidence.
"The country is ruined" truth is the ruination started some time ago when chips shops turned into kebab shops and out of town country inns turned into Indian restaurants.

@ Daily Angst, I know you are most likely trolling, but there are still plenty of "chip shops" about, and its nice that we have variety in cuisine. Indian food is amazing, and there is a good reason IF many people in this country have rejected "english" cuisine in favour of it (one word : bland). Fortunately in this country, we have access to the best of all foods!

Fish n Chips and old style pub food is alright, but english traditional dishes are not seen as our best exports....lets praise the immigrants for opening our minds and diversifying our taste buds.

I missed it, but I don't see what that has to do with embracing and enjoying different foods other than english food. I don't think "cuisine" is something we should complain about in regards to immigration....its not a battle that can be won. Strains on health, education system, infrastructure - maybe there are arguments for/against. But for food? Just no. We're very lucky we can eat so many different kinds of foods and relatively authentically thanks to immigrants.

@ Jack. We were not discussing patriotism or british culture, we were talking cuisine. If you prefer british food then great, you continue to eat it. For others, we like to try different things and have variety, so will do so. Its nice to have choice - even if you choose to not take advantage of it.
