Delighted to see that Boots have started up their own homeless shelter. Bravo. What a lovely addition to the town. Bravo also to the dfl who gave the poor homeless dosser an artisan loaf this morning.

Would you have preferred I gave him a loaf of Hovis White instead? Next time I'll give him some options, thanks for the advice.

To be a masterbaker you've got to wear hessian underpants and felt socks with sandals.

That is rich coming from someone who only appears to come on here to be pedantic about other people's posts. Please feel free to start a thread about something else.

Which one of the "homeless" was it there at the time? They have a rota system going.

I understand that the typed-up rota can be found stuck to the fridge door of their Landport house.

Does their existence REALLY bother people this much? I get the sympathy kind of "bothered", but being angry at them seems so futile and I don't think raising your blood pressure over things you can't control is counter productive.

I remember when I was much younger, I'd be so bothered by chavs and their chaved up cars, their mere existence was annoying. Now I couldn't care less and think live and let live. Funny how maturity and a bit of weed solves all of lifes problems.

Hopefully Boots shelter has been erected round the back in the car park by Laura Ashley. Providing they do not a registration number on it they can't be "fined".

If so bothered by them, could crowd fund and help regenerate enough to refurbish the front with sliding doors all the way to the front windows and could also help a local person by employing a security guard to clear entrance for customers safety. Get your account number ready. Please leave your details with the chap outside boots. Have a lovely Monday.

Why did you hate chavs in chav cars? I love them. Great fun cheers up my day , seeing a tool waste money on crap or average crap car. Then looking out of window for attention. Have had a couple stop and shout at me as I've been laughing so hard. There was a wasp painted car about and a fiat punto green red and grey. Two classics in town.

Nobody there tonight when I just drove past. Must be something good on TV! Oh, well - they'll be walking in to town at the crack of 08:00 with their sleeping bags and begging bowls, ready for another day of asking the public to supplement their government handouts.
