Excellent whenever I've been, but I haven't eaten there for a couple of years now.

The food is good, sea food especially (or it used to be anyway). Service can be a bit sniffy and precious though.

It's actually just not that friendly. Good food though.

They used to allow dogs in the bar area. Have they stopped?

Don't know about dog friendly - it was last summer and we sat outside. Had the seafood platter which was ok but totally ruined by the staff trying to hurry us up so they could close up early. I think football was on or something so there weren't many people there and they were just AWFUL - hanging around taking anything off the table as soon as we put it down.
Really peed off as the food was expensive - for what it was - and we weren't given chance to enjoy it. I've spent longer over a meal in Burger king.
By the end of the meal they were obviously aware we were pissed off and obviously didn't care.

Mmmm, not a good place by the sound of it. I'll give it a go in the spring - fingers crossed.
