Bill gates

There have been accusations made about bill gates and conspiracy theories. A little investigation on the internet and is easy to see them. Every one of them is strenuously denied and apparently objective observers say they are wrong. He is accused of forced sterilisation because he has publicly said he thinks it is important for the world population to come down. He thinks this is most likely achieved by drastically reducing child mortality through vaccinations and reducing malaria.
I think he has answered all the charges and he is not guilty. Many resent him as he made a fortune on the internet. Some may think that technology would be further ahead without him but I doubt it. Some may argue that by supporting existing governments there is a tacit neo liberal agenda and I would like to see Tom argue that. It is possible to argue that anyone earning the amount he has is implicitly wrong and although he is giving a lot of it away he will never be poor but he should never have been allowed to earn that much and he is now just satisfying his ego.Go for it Tom.
Sounds like a big conspiracy theory to me.

I'm glad you brought this up Nev. I don't have anything against Gates, in the same position as him I might well do the same or worse. He has plans for the future like any business man. All corporations and businesses have them and the bigger they are the more long range they must be, often longer than a lifetime. I call them plans NOT conspiracies. They are inevitable, I hope everybody's got that. If I have the notion that it might not be much fun for the rest of us it's not a conspiracy theory it's a notion. He has this ambition to vaccinate everybody, I've seen a video of him saying this~ correct me if I'm wrong,it might be someone from the UN. I'm sure he means it for the good of everyone but I think it's a megalomaniac idea and I don't like it one bit. Those videos of him waving his arms around with his spikey, contorted fingers give me the creeps. He looks very autistic to me and I don't want to be a part of his world but it looks as if he has so much influence that I might end up being in it. How can you bring the population down by reducing mortality? Am I alone in finding this contradictory? Please tell me, I'd like to know. As I say, he has plans for the world, not conspiracies and I find them repellant. He's a eugenicist just like his father (and that bloke with the funny moustache)and I find them disgusting.

Reducing child mortality to reduce population growth sounds counter intuitive but the idea is that if you know there is a good chance of your children living, you will only have children you want. If you think many of your children will die at young ages you will keep having more of them. Yesterday Tom, you said he had been caught adding steriliser to vaccines. If you truly believe that then from what you have written above, you have changed your mind because I think that is a terrible thing to do.
Admit it Tom. You are a sucker for a good conspiracy theory, especially when it concerns someone you don't like in the first place whether because of their arms or the fact that they are ridiculously wealthy. Maybe he really is a very bad man with megalomaniacal ideas who can afford to get lots of people to deny what he is doing and then post it on the internet and you are one of the few people to see through him.

What's he vaccinating everyone against? "he looks autistic"? Well crikey: that sixth sense of yours is worth a fortune!

Bill Gates is a notable philanthropist. It's how they do it in the land of the free. People get astonishingly rich because no-one taxes them properly (Trump etc) and then they sent up huge foundations and give stuff away. Personally I'd rather they elected sensible governments and taxed them so that the state can decide what the whole population needs rather than the whims of the extremely rich

I'm afraid this world is stuck with creeps like Gates, Branson, Bezos et al for some time to come. Hippies used to think the Age of Aquarius was going to be an age of freedom and equality. It's not, it's going to be an era of what we used to call hip capitalism.

Right on Basil, I remember reading a speech by one of the San Francisco diggers about love, peace and the new green world. At the end of it he said, "yeah, that was originally given by Hitler!

On a similar theme, private eye brings up that the daily mail were happy to crow about their proprietor partly paying for an airlift of overalls and masks from China but forgetting to mention that he is a tax dodger who manages to avoid paying tax to the NHS in the first place.

Ahh good old "Godwins Law" - use Hitler to discredit any movement they disagree with when it suits them. To be fair, we've surely all used it at some point. Hitler is humanitys super-arch villain/bogeyman that everyone basically knows about at this point.

As a vegetarian, I can't recall how many times (and incorrectly, I should point out, not that it matters) people have tried to belittle the act of simply avoiding eating meat and saying how Hitler used to be a vegetarian which therefore must defeat any possibility of it being compassionate.

Another of Gates wheezes I've just discovered~ He wants to get rid of cash and have all transactions digital. The Better than Cash Alliance sponsors~Visa, MasterCard, Citibank and ....... The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation! I wonder why?

Shock news. High tech entrepreneur joins in with high tech companies in support of high tech initiative. What is your problem with a cashless economy? I may agree with you about it but I don't see why I should be surprised by your post Tom.

Neither do I, agreement at last, though I'm a bit disappointed not to see the word conspiracy in your post.

Problem with cashless: too much control of population by unelected controllers of credit, they can make you a pauper in seconds if they don't like you. They know where you are and what you buy all the time. Basically it's the gift of a lifetime for control freaks, Christmas every day. Any other downsides?

So would this be like all the companies getting together and making you buy something or making you a pauper or coming round to get you or something then Tom? I can't believe there are people who think you're a conspiracy theorist.
