Bill Gates climate change

A very interesting week of readings of Bill Gates book on climate change this week on radio 4. He accepts that climate change is happening and action is needed. He clearly thinks that technology can come to the rescue if it is encouraged properly by governments but that ultimately capitalism will have to create the innovation required. I'm interested to know if anyone who heard it has any views. If you didn't hear it then it is available on sounds and I would recommend it for anyone interested in the subject.
It is of course entirely possible that it is just the 5G bot injected into me earlier this week ostensibly to prevent covid that is raising my interest in anything he has to say.

Bill's a swell guy and one of the wealthiest men in the world, what's not to like? He wants to inject the whole world with vaccines and he wants to spray the atmosphere of the world with chemicals and dim the sunlight, what's not to like there? He sure thinks big. Seeing that you know what I think much better than I do, you can answer for me. And greeny can..... and hyena and.....etc.

TP - we had some very cold weather last week, surely that dispels any "myth" about "global warming", because..... well because someone said so on youtube. Lets just carry on burning those fossils.

I really don't mind if you talk about something else at all Tom. My hopes for an interesting thread in which reasonable people discuss climate change and possible responses to it hasn't really happened. I had also hoped that some people might be motivated to listen to the programme to assess what he had to say. Apart from your response which I couldn't actually understand, all of the responses have been about you anyway. You don't need my permission but please feel free to raise any informed or uninformed points you wish.

There's plenty of fossils to be found in the chalk pits greeny. I guess you could vape them but I'm not sure of their narcotic properties.
I wonder if Gates and his chums were successful in their bid for the private jet company they were after? All these billionaires have to arrive in style to their climate conferences don't you know. It's a growing market with the big corporations getting richer by the minute as lockdown decimates the small fry.

Why would i vape fossils from chalk pits? That literally makes no sense in any context other than you bizarrely think it's somehow offensive to me to bring up that I vape ganja.

Anyways, nice sunny day today in Lewes. I wonder if we can use todays weather to blow apart the general consensus from global climate scientists. Probably not but we don't need to be experts to push conspiracy theories....in fact it's preferably that we aren't and tends to be the case!

You and your conspiracy theories greeny. You never say what they are, is it some deep dark secret you're keeping under your hat? I don't know why you're burning fossils or why you mentioned it.

According to Wikipedia, a climate change conspiracy theorist believes that the scientific consensus on climate change is based on conspiracies to produce false data and suppress dissent. I'm Afraid this is you rather than green Tom.
I hope you've had your vaccination Tom or bill will be upset that you're not having a 5G transmitter injected against a non existent illness that has been invented to let the rich people get richer.

A none existent illness Nev? What the hell are you talking about? Have you been smoking fossils? What a load of tripe you come out with. Have you been playing with your boys own electric paranoid transmitter kit in the shed again? Perhaps the machine's got a computer virus- covid 5G!

I hope that means you have had a jab Tom.

I'm afraid the word jab always conjures up in my mind- in the eye with a sharp stick. To be avoided at all costs. I remember a nurse pulling down my trousers and jabbing an enormous hypodermic in one of my southerly cheeks when I was a teenager. Perhaps it left me with a phobia. I don't think I've had an injection since, oh yes, apart from at the dentist. It's just a personal matter, my own business. Like climate change, I don't need anyone telling me what to think. I'm not a climate change conspiracy theorist as you so quaintly put it, I just think it's preposterous to say that it's caused by people.
Then there's Gates. I was reading about his neo colonial efforts in Africa. In the name of feeding the starving he supported the development of big agribusiness and huge factory farms. They of course use tons of pesticides and artificial fertilisers and put small natural farmers out of work driving them into overcrowded slum cities. Oh yes, and they pay good dividends on his investments, with most of the produce being exported, leaving little for the locals to eat. The man is a eugenicist and Rockefeller stooge like his father before him who was also a nasty piece of work.

The 3bn dollars he has given to AIDs research was just a ruse, when what he is really doing is creating a sinister new world order behind the scenes.....where everyone will have to use a Windows operating system, and take 5g vaccinations. He'll be the first man on the moon as well and begin to colonise that new piece of real estate as its ALLLLL about money and control!

Having witnessed the many occasions on which you have hijacked discussions to come out with your usual guff Tom, I don't think you are in any position to criticise green's satirising of your views.

@TP, you can't blame me for insinuating you hold insane world views. Beliefs which you share with a minority of mostly disenfranchised, paranoid, fantasists that are desperate to stand out and be noticed by anyone. Perhaps you're not quite as extreme as some of the Texans who vented about the recent snow storms to be fake and man-made, and by your old pal William Gates III no less. I'm certain they would welcome your opinions on the coronavirus, vaccines, the globalist bankers and 5g networks. You must forgive the rest of us for being so incredulous to this nonsense.

You are almost right green. I will continue to look on the forum as there is useful and interesting stuff from time to time like the racecourse news but I am feeling less like responding when any discussion is just going to be closed down by the usual stuff and personal insults from Tom. He never bothers to read or assess what others have said but just ploughs on. I will occasionally be bored enough to respond to him and I hope he learns to recognise a serious exchange of views and not just interrupt with whatever nonsense idea is in his head. Maybe you could just start a new thread Tom. I will read your response Tom but on this occasion I am unlikely to respond to it.
