I honestly don't understand how the prices are justified . I would have thought the target audience would be youngsters grabbing a burger with their pocket money ? It would come to a small fortune for a family to eat and would cost just the same eating out in a restaurant . I really hope I'm wrong as you want people to be successful In their new ventures , unfortunately I'm not sure most people could afford the prices . Gourmet burgers are everywhere now , go back to Grubbs/Uncle Sam's quality but half the price perhaps .

If they don't alter their prices I can't see it lasting until Christmas. Terrible market research to come up with those costings.

I don't mind spending in the £70 region for a meal for two, but even so I saw the prices in there and ouch, I'm not spending that much on a burger gourmet or not.
I think they've seen the prices of burgers at places like the snowdrop and figured they can charge that (but without providing the setting the snowdrop provides).
Let's also hope it scores higher on the hygiene rating than their cousins round the corner in the spice merchant.

We tried it for the first time and it was very good. A bit pricy perhaps but still almost half the price of Domino's. Mind you Domino's always seems really expensive.

Their problem is going to be that 100 yards away at the Elly you can get a better flavoured and textured 8 oz burger made from locally sourced meat, with chips and salad included, eating in,for less that the price of the basic take-away at Big Daddy's, and the Elly gives substantial discounts if two meals are ordered. And 50 yards away the Lewes Arms majors on jerk chicken with rice and peas.
Bid Dadddy's will have to rely on trade after 8:30 when both the Elly and the Lewes Arms stop serving.

But Big Daddy's is a chain. And the Elly isn't.
Someone has to fund Big Daddy's marketing campaign.
