Took my son out for a walk this morning. As we approached the Castle, I saw two men in dark glasses, mid 30s, sitting on a bench with cans of lager. "Spare some change mate? You've got spare change. It's in your pocket!" Shouted aggressively.
Not quite demanding money with menaces, but not very nice when you're just taking your kid for a walk. Be warned.

A worrying experience I'm sure but, like most things, don't let the minority nutters tarnish the genuine need of the majority.

I saw them this am. Sitting in the doorway of the ROM. Well known drunks and druggies. One was well known as a "window cleaner" he used to knock doors claiming to have done the windows when you were out. Tried on me once, he didn't try again. Given that they care barely stand up they are quite harmless.

Is it not incredible that we have to put up with this scum, and furthermore there are those who make excuses for their behavior. If our streets were patrolled in a proper manner by the Police Force that we pay for we would not have these people. However we now have a PCC who is in charge of the police (the Chief Constable is irrelavent) and she will not allow her policemen on the street as it it may be construed as harassment.
Incidentally how many PCSO's are we to have now that they have all had to re_apply for their job.Remember people vote for your PCC ,SHE WILL PROTECT YOU ALL !!!!

True Hyena. They may need care, support, treatment for mental illness, counselling following years of abuse, you name it. I admit I was wrong to assume they were homeless.
