Adult Ballet @ Malling Community Centre
A classic ballet class which has been created for adults of any age with or without previous experience of ballet. Most injuries/physical limitations are also taken into consideration during the class which can often be a barrier to people exercising.
There is lots of evidence showing dance to be a wonderful form of exercise for a variety of conditions and for improving your mental well being.
Ballet will improve your balance and posture, strengthen your muscles and maintain or improve bone density as all exercises are weight bearing.

17:30 - 18:30 No class Tuesday 24th October during half term
Junior Contemporary Dance classes @ Ringmer Community College
Contemporary and creative dance classes for those aged 7-12yrs.

With contemporary dance studied as part of many school curriculums, these classes develop physical skills, choreography and performance in this style of dance that will help prepare students for the transition to secondary school.

Senior classes are for those aged 13-18 years and are aim to boost GCSE and A’level dance grades. Classes include Graham, Cunningham and Release techniques, floor and travelling exercises as well as time for students to explore their own creative ideas as soloists or with others.

NATD Grades 1-6 are on offer for those who wish to take exams in contemporary dance, as will new Rambert grades in the new year.

Keep Fit @ Kingston Parish Hall
A general keep fit class for all ages and abilities incorporating a mixture of cardio, weight bearing exercises and stretching. Alternative exercises offered to accommodate for particular injuries or conditions so that the class is as inclusive as possible.

20:10 - 21:00 First class starts Tuesday 7th November
Adult Contemporary Dance @ Ringmer Community College
A brand new adult contemporary dance classes coming to Ringmer on Tuesday evenings!

This intermediate, open level class will welcome adults of all experiences, aged 18-60+ including dancers, teachers, students and those perhaps still performing.

Led by myself and other experienced teachers and performers, classes will focus on developing strength, stamina, flexibility and coordination. With contemporary dance being the umbrella term form lots of different styles and approaches including Ballet, Cunningham, Limon, Graham and Release, there will also be time to explore your own movement and learn choreographed sequences.

With something for everyone in this 6 week Autumn term. classes will be an enjoyable way to improve fitness, wellbeing and contemporary dance technique.
