Mindfulness and Awareness, the Path of Meditation (course) @ The open door, church twittern
This course takes you through a journey to discover, establish and deepen the practice of Mindfulness and Awareness meditation. Drawing on the Tibetan tradition and recent scientific research, and led by Rigpa instructors Dan Ewen and Donald Manson. This 5 week course is suitable for beginners and more experienced meditators

Adult Ballet @ St Michaels Church Hall
This is a classic ballet class which has been created for adults of any age with or without previous experience of ballet.
There is lots of evidence showing dance to be a wonderful form of exercise for a variety of conditions and for improving your mental well being.
Ballet will improve your balance and posture, strengthen your muscles and maintain or improve bone density as all exercises are weight bearing.

Come and write together in a friendly, supportive group

Beginners and experienced writers welcome

I will use a variety of techniques and exercises to inspire us to write, including readings and discussion

I am a Creative Writing researcher, experienced in giving respectful, constructive feedback on first drafts and work written in workshops
