The Legacy of Lee Miller




Antony Penrose, in conversation with LLL's Artistic Director Mark Hewitt, revisits the remarkable legacy and achievement of his mother, Lee Miller, accompanied by projections of photographs from her wonderful archive. Penrose will talk about his initial discovery of the extensive collection of work at their family home, the writing of his acclaimed biography, The Lives of Lee Miller, and how the recent feature film, Lee, starring Kate Winslet, has impacted upon the work of the Lee Miller Archive at Farley's House and Gallery in nearby Chiddingly.
