I'm constantly amazed how tolerant webbo is. He seems to let all comers on here and then let them say what they want. I don't know you (and now I'm pretty sure I don't want to) but the fact that you say you've been banned leads me believe that you must have been really obnoxious.

I'm with webbo. He does a great job.

James, why would the person who runs this forum 'try to cause trouble on his own page'?
Stop being silly.
If you don't like the forum, or have something against the people on it, then, well, just move away from this little part of the internet, slowly forgetting it's existence, then you can relax, and all will be fine in a matter of days. You see, none of it really matters, anyway. It's just a computer forum.

If you don't like it, don't come here. I much prefer Webbo's hands-off approach to forums where you get bopped with the banstick for saying the slightest smutty thing or havng an opinion that goes beyond "aren't kittens nice".
There are plenty of people on here whose views I don't like, and I daresay they don't like mine either. But that makes it interesting.

Why is everyone bullying this guy?
None of these discussions matter in the slightest, as evidenced by the race to the bottom in pretty much every thread.
Dont we all just come here to throw stones and take part in the bear pit?

Because he deserves it William. If you knew the history you'd get it.

the man is rude, arrogant and very self centred. he has bullied and forced good people to stop coming on the forum. good to see webbo sticking up for the people on here. the sooner this man decides to stop posting on this forum again the better. leave now james and do us all a favour.

Every time he posts he uses a different user name (until now). If you've ever wondered how it was that so many snidy, vicious little people could gather together on one forum think again... many of the dirty little posts were made by one person (always with same punctuation oddities, same capitalisation style, same method of getting round the swear filter, same spelling oddities, same cruel, back-biting comments, every fifth post homophobic etc).
It's amazing how easily one person posting very regularly using multiple user names can manage to destroy so many threads (and be hateful to so many people).

He is not wanted here. The sooner webbo bans him again, the better.

Can one of those that use other names please explain to me the point of doing so? This is an anonymous forum on which we are unknown to each other (I accept some of you appear to know the identity of some posters) but if a non-identifying name is used and you don't discuss your posts off the forum then you are, and will remain, anonymous. I think it pointless to post in different names, in fact rather stupid.

Maybe webbo could introduce a registering system so we can all only use 1 name, still keeping in annonamous but stopping the multiname posting, and making it easier to ban/remove people? just a thought.

JR, I sometimes post under other names, partly because I have been crucified using this one and most people know who I am. I have the, what some people would say, ignomy, of working for LDC, being related to a certain family who get mentioned on here a lot and drive a 4WD. Also certain people on this forum intimidate me and I would rather be able to say what I think without fear of reprisal. Now I am going to sit back and wait for Tooth Fairy to have a go.

A problem here Cliffebimbo is that numerous people can use Tooth Fairy as a moniker (including the person who started this thread!).

@ guido. Registration is still not foolproof as anyone can re-register an account with a different user name/email address. The other affect registration could have is to stop people being able to post truly anonymously. e.g, as time goes on more and more people know the real identity of frequent posters. If a frequent poster needs to spill the beans about something (and for me the LDC beans posts are the best ones!) then they'll use an alternative name in the sure knowledge that if they do not complete the email field when they post they cannot be traced.

jrsussex - perhaps it's fun to try different personalities. I usually stick to homesick but sometimes use something thread-related.
BTW - those people who want everyone to use their real names - that's ok if you are called tony or bill. What if you are called something weird like me? I don't want you lot hunting me down with your buring crosses (btw - this is a joke)
