I would go to a rescue centre but daughter is desperate .

If you pop in to Pet Doctors, the vet in the Cliffe Industrial Estate, they have a list of current rescue cats up on the wall. I was in there last week and there were at least three kittens listed.

Alternatively, type "Kittens Lewes" into Google and you'll get a whole page of links to people selling or giving away kittens.

I used the Brighton gumtree site, loads advertised on there, some even free, but this was last november.
The rescue centres seem to want to rehouse cats in pairs, rather than singly, and don;t often have many kittens
