Some cars were subject to being broken into last night on the Nevill. How common is this type of crime happening on the estate?

Ive heard of a few cases in the last couple of years, just got me wondering how many other times it may have happened recently. Luckily for you then that you've not had the misfortune of this type of event, my friend.

Sad times when Nevill gets targeted.

I'd Say Nevill was more the new Malling, It's knowhere near as sh1t as Landport.
If it is the new Landport then Landport must be the new Moulsecoombe! Out the two options I know where I'd rather live.

It's getting dodgy though up there on the hill. And as for new malling....what a one horse dung heap of a place that is.
I rest my case m'lud.
Just having a chat with one of the pcso's who was telling me about the amount of crime up in Nevill. I mentioned to him that all the Nevill Hillbillys slag other peoples homes and estates off all the time yet when it's them on the receiving end of the truth, they start crying....LMFAO

I agree all areas have their bad elements. I know someone who had their car stolen from Landport by lads from the Nevill estate & others from Nevill got caught vandalising the area. Were those culprits just Nevill scum or sh*t or are they called something different? LOL

We call them Nevillporters.

There are always bad eggs in every walk of life. You can have a family up Houndean with little sh1ts for kids. But on the whole apart from a couple of bad families, Nevills Fine.

Sadly its a handful of of bad eggs that spoil areas for everyone - Landport included. On the whole residents at Landport are no different from those on the Nevill & have had to put up with unfair bad press for years due to a few. Like it or not the reality is people in Lewes no longer regard Nevill as any better than anywhere else :-(

I agree that there has been way too much development of existing houses on Nevill, hardly a single house without some eyesore of an extension

Interesting that you emphasise that you live in 'old' malling as if it's shangri la compared to 'new' malling. Estate agent speak to big up a 50's council estate. Personaly I prefer the new bit, luckily I live in neither.

Let me see...it's called Old because it's older than the New bit.....numbskull. Personally I think its quieter than many areas and the houses are nice and well kept generally. The houses up the New bit are tiny and have tiny garden...very different to Old Malling
What part of Lewes do you live in Tooth Fairy? Landport?
