Some cars were subject to being broken into last night on the Nevill. How common is this type of crime happening on the estate?

If it is the new Landport then Landport must be the new Moulsecoombe! Out the two options I know where I'd rather live.

It's getting dodgy though up there on the hill. And as for new malling....what a one horse dung heap of a place that is.
I rest my case m'lud.
Just having a chat with one of the pcso's who was telling me about the amount of crime up in Nevill. I mentioned to him that all the Nevill Hillbillys slag other peoples homes and estates off all the time yet when it's them on the receiving end of the truth, they start crying....LMFAO

There are always bad eggs in every walk of life. You can have a family up Houndean with little sh1ts for kids. But on the whole apart from a couple of bad families, Nevills Fine.

Sadly its a handful of of bad eggs that spoil areas for everyone - Landport included. On the whole residents at Landport are no different from those on the Nevill & have had to put up with unfair bad press for years due to a few. Like it or not the reality is people in Lewes no longer regard Nevill as any better than anywhere else :-(

I agree that there has been way too much development of existing houses on Nevill, hardly a single house without some eyesore of an extension
