Very childish behaviour on the festival thread by both of you. You should be ashamed. A certain little clique seems hell bent on reducing this forum to something akin to the Brighton argus comments pages. A real shame.

Hard not to troll when you keep adding pathetic posts like this, download Wordpress and start your own forum but stop bleeding complaining, the whole "let's be nice brigade" post more pointless threads than the trolls.

There are some real drama queens on this forum. Its all rather amusing really.

I've called for official registration of forum user accounts for ages. It would rid it of all these anonymous clowns spreading absurd alternate-realities. "Embarrassed" & "Depressed" sums up the emotional frailty of the person behind these anonymous lunacy.

REPEAT: To be honest Pedro and Clifford are some of the few people on this forum that speak sense, Newms also. While I don't agree with Pedro's antagonism, nor Clifford's views on the EU or Newms's writing style I can see through that to the salient points. It seems that this forum is often too black and white.

Where as your posts are works of literary genius embarrassed? I will make the same point that I do on all of these "let's be friends" threads. These posts are every bit as negative as anything the trolls do, at least the trolls make us laugh regularly. Stop complaining, if every reply was just an agreement with the op no one would use the forum.

Please read the op. Your just as bad as the the pedro brigade by tuning the thread to suit your opinion.its not about being friends but about hijacking threads and banging on for ever. You are learning the same tricks.

Pedro, are you autistic by any chance? Your posting style and general lack of social comprehension would suggest someone on the Aspergers spectrum. Pretty classic symptoms to be honest.

Doesn't matter if you are of course, although that might lessen the hostility towards you a touch if people knew.

@ "serious question" - are you medically qualified to make that assessment? (and based off a forum?) I'm assuming not, because the answer to your not so "serious question" and amusing trolling is no. I'm afraid you'll just have to continue to hate me as I am.

On 17 Feb 2017 at 12:15pm Serious question wrote:
Of course I'm not medically qualified, that's why I asked you.

I do have experience of people with Aspergers though and what characterises them is a general lack of awareness of other people's opinion of them, they are completely self-obsessed and struggle to comprehend when people aren't interested in what they have to say. This can lead to either coming across as a bit smug and self-satisfied or developing a victim complex when people stop dropping subtle hints nd outright tell them to jog on.

Honestly this isn't trolling, I'm just trying to understand your posting style and raison d'etre and you suffering from Aspergers is a nicer thought than you just being genuinely obnoxious.

@ "serious question" - no, you are trolling. You need to try and look at your own behaviour here. It just seems peculiar, to put it mildly.

I never claim to be perfect, and have clearly stated that some people disagree strongly with my opinions. It becomes a bit weird when people like you resort to desperate and personal angles though in a losing battle to try and shut others out of the forum - that is essentially trolling. I would be far more concerned for your own mental well-being as it surely can't be healthy creating multiple forum identities in a bid to try and discredit a total stranger on a forum. Think wisely upon your reaction to this post, and what good it will actually do yourself.

I had thought that perhaps you were just obnoxious until I got to the bit about you stating that other people disagree with your opinion but that's the clincher really. People don't dislike you because of your opinions, it's your delivery that gets on peoples' collective goat but that you fail to grasp this is what makes me think you might have some form of admittedly mild, social interaction disorder. People tell you you're overly long-winded and repetitive and you respond in an overly long-winded and repetitive way, this just doesn't strike me as the act of someone thinking 100% rationally.

I'm not trying to shut you out at all, your opinions are at times interesting and this place would be awfully dull if everyone was the same. I'm just trying to encourage you to make your posts a touch less rambling (Ironic, I know), don't always assume everything is about you or that people care about your involvement and stop responding to every single post with your name in with a copy-paste "I know you hate me so I'm going to respond by doing the same thing but more" because that's pretty childish if nothing else and will do your cause no favours.

Honestly, I'm trying to help here if you could but see it.

@ serious question. You are trying to lecture people on a forum about how to post. This is frankly bizarre, and you're waffling tediously and endlessly about it. I'm perfectly content with who I am, and how I conduct myself on this forum. Sure, I attract the odd anonymous creepers barking tedious and repetitive demands, but I also get plenty of support from registered users on here - I know which feedback I'm going to value the most.

For all your faux concerns about my mental well-being, I urge you to review your own state of mind. If you can't deal with a stranger on an internet forum and resort to this kind of strategy, you may be going wrong somewhere.

I really don't get what people's (or is it one person's) problem is with Pedro. Sure, he always responds to people trolling him when in fact the best thing to do is ignore them, but generally I don't see what else he does that's weird. He's not that long-winded (although I never read the political threads so don't know about that) and he generally makes sense (grammatically).
He's nowhere near the worst offender here for dullness nor belligerence, nor is he the worst I've come across for self-righteousness (that title will always go to the "Queen") and he's not a rambling mess like Newman or that other guy who was clearly having some personal issues. Genuinely, what's the ACTUAL problem?

True - I do respond to the anonymous trolls when perhaps I shouldn't for the benefit of the forum. But eventually they will tire long before I will as I quite enjoy it, and I really don't find anything insulting thats been aimed at me.

Take being labelled a "drug addict", by the poster "gangggeerr". I find it quite funny. I love cannabis and clearly don't hide that! Where do they go from there?? I guess its been also implied I'm a "paedo", again, I can't help but find that amusing - and I'm not even high at the moment (that pleasure comes later, where I find this forum even more hilarious!)
