So now Jason is no more (and no, I didn't mind the banter at all), where can I get a cheap haircut without waiting for hours in Esquires? Helpful suggestions only...

Hair@27 Western Road. Book online and you're seen immediately. All done in 20 minutes. Costs £12 to £14.

£12-£14? You can buy some decent clippers and a pudding bowl for around £30 and have free haircuts at home for years!

I use a hairdresser in Brighton. Very nice girl. For an extra tenner she will cut your hair topless.

In the end I went to Riverside. Slightly pricey at £18 but washed and well cut with excellent coffee! I'll be back.

I get my hair cut at Andy and Marvins. It's a simple short cut and they do it very well. Plus I rarely wait and they do it quickly. As I visit during work time how long it takes is important to me. I've been to other barbers in Lewes that takes three or four times as long to cut it and I find it frustrating, especially as the cut is never any better.

Haley's moved up the road to the Lewes Barber Shop. Painfully slow though. Took over an hour on Monday to get my hair done. Was about £11 altogether though so can't complain too much

Went to the lewes barber shop today. Was pleasantly suprised to see a familiar friendly face. A little more expensive than Jason's but didn't have to listen to all of that 'banter' otherwise known as crappy opinions on football and titz.
