Well Tory Voter, I'm not sure Boris can string a sensible sentence together. His interview on Today this morning was appalling. He couldn't sensibly answer any question as too busy trying to shoe horn derogatory comments about in Jeremy Corbin etc. Talk about being Lyndon Crosby's poodle. He didn't properly address policing and He wouldn't condemn Trump or his visit. Totally fatuous and pointless interview. Diane Abbot is indeed a disaster and is probably really unwell and should be kept off the airwaves.. However, no party is coming over well and it leads me to say we are Lions being led by Donkeys. What a complete shambles.

Just imagine the possibility of this country enduring 5 years of an incompetent home secretary, who is unwilling to engage in interviews/debates.....oh wait...

I don't think you could fairly criticise Diane Abbott for failing to engage in public debate. More of a relentless self-publicist, I would have thought.
If we have an incompetent politician who happens to be female and black, is it sexist and racist to criticise her, or sexist and racist not to do so?

You see above that I said she has had to put up with a lot of sexist and racist comments for years AND that she is embarrassingly incompetent. The two aren't mutually exclusive.

Somehow, I don't think she would be home secretary even if labour gained power. First thing a new PM does is create a whole new cabinet. Do find Johnson just as painful though, who seems to get off scott free.

Poor old Diane, she has enough problems without getting all those tricky questions. The performance tonight was that of someone in message overload, frankly at the end of the tether. This is no Amber Rudd (watch this space) or Priti Patel, but someone who has just woken up to the fact that I might just have to do a proper job on Friday, and it scares the pants off me, her, I mean. I'm no fan of the ruling classes, but when murder on the streets becomes a regular event, you'd better get on the case, and talking gibberish in the interview gives me zero confidence.
