Latest poll predicts 170+ seat majority for the Conservative Party. Labour and other MPs who oppose us don't need to bother turning up for work. The British people have no place for opposition and it has no voice. Time for Labour supporters to melt away and stop spreading unproductive lies before our legitimate ruling party judges them for such behaviour.

Far better than having a permanent socialist state; as suffered in eastern Europe for around 45 years in the last century.

One person posts an obvious troll suggesting a Tory dictatorship would be a good thing for the country and Sussex Jim agrees with them. you couldn't make it up.
Sadly I fear we will be stuck with the Tories until everyone Jim's age has the good grace to die off or become too infirm to make it to a polling station. Ironically, Tory cuts to the NHS and adult social care will only speed this process, one can only hope there'll be anything decent left in the country to salvage once they're gone.

Agreed. I don't see what's "patriotic" about selling off the family silver to the highest foreign investor... we now spend a miserly 36% of GDP on state spending. Germany, for example, spends 44%. If we are going to be able to compete after Brexit, we need more state-spending to underpin it. The race to the bottom can't go on.

I'd say there's reason to moan:
On average there are 506 starving people in British hospitals every day. (186,528 bed days last year) Compared to 2006/7, 2016/17 has seen a 300% in hospital admissions for malnutrition. The increase has been a occurred since the financial crisis, and has accelerated as meals on wheels and social care for the elderly has been cut. (By more than 65%) Amongst the rest of the population, the rise in poverty seems to be the major cause. 80% of those admitted to hospital for malnutrition are admitted as an emergency, I.e they are rushed to hospital because they are in imminent danger of serious harm or death. @tell me, I presume not voting for the types of government that would persist with destructive and harmful policies that are causing these issues, would be a pretty good start, for The Greek. If that alone was his only contribution, it would be worthy.

That was a copy and paste btw, not my own words. @@greek, So I suppose now Labour are responsible for the sub-prime mortgage crisis originating in the USA? Or the LIBOR rigging of Barclays? Their actions may have helped exacerbate it (due to following the Tory lead of light-touch regulation and borrowing to invest at a time of growth) but did not CAUSE it.
