Delighted you found Paddy.
Out of interest, I have heard of many dogs being stolen in Abbott's Wood, Berwick (which is close to where he was found). I wonder if there is a dog stealing/breeding community round those parts?

So pleased you got him back, safe and sound.
I feel sick to think of anyone stealing my dogs. I'd be inconsolable.

A vet in hampden park called me at 12 today saying they had him, (he is microchipped).Apparently he was spotted last night walking along the dicker. A man took him home and put his own dog with a neighbour to look after him, while he fed Paddy with rice and fish. this morning he put a notice up in his local store and took him to the vet. Later he got a calll from the women who had him telling him that he was let out for a pee and legged it, and that they hadn't stolen him, but had found him as a stray, but hadn't reported him found yet. I told the cops he's back and they are now talking to the women concerned.

Oh PS
The man who found him declined my offer of a reward, saying he was a dog owner himself and did it because that's what you do as a dog owner. Wouldn't even accept a bunch of flowers for his wife or even some food for his dog.
Thanks Ali. Thanks Webbo for putting up the pic, you can take it down now or mark him as found. Thanks to all who were concerned.
IF ANYONE HAS A DOG AND IT'S NOT CHIPPED, GET IT DONE!

Great news, take Paddy down the pub to celebrate with a packet of pork scratchings and a small ashtray of beer.
