Bay City Rollers - yes they were awful musicians, but it was a clean and decent time and the catchy lyrics (that I still remember) and clothing were absolutely smashing to experience.
Earth, Wind & Fire - brilliant musicians, catchy romantic lyrics
Queen - versatile and fan-blooming-tastic

Same Toker, less Tim Buckley and Nick Drake (who?)plus a couple of obscure ones "Solid" don't know who by and wild cherry, Harry Nillsons 'I can't live' and the Doobie Bros various. And of course "all the young Dudes" by Mott.

Have you got 'Last FM' or 'Deezer' or even better 'Spotify' over there Expat?
Have a look, they are all fine music stations.
If you put Nick Drake and Tim Buckley in the search boxes you will find a lot of good music that is still played and covered today.
Of course...The Doobie Brothers are high on my list....As are Steely Dan.
I have fairly recently discovered and loved Goldfrapp,Massive Attack,Alabama 3....Check them out on Spotify,it is really good!!
