apparently according to my local counciller the committee that decides on where should and should not be gritted agreed 2 years ago not to salt pavements anymore... Said counceller agrees that this should be changed!!! Also there were 2 maps to show where should be gritted. one with landport totally covered and one that showed landport partly covered. you can guess which one was chosen! we had 2 inches and more on our road and in the end the more manly men took to the street with their shovels! thanks guys!!!!!
