She's been a miserable bag for years, the only way to deal with people like her is to give her a piece of your mind which i've done in the past. She spoke to me like a bit of crap about 10 years ago, infront of customers and staff, big mistake. I told her exactly what i thought of her and what some of her previous staff had said about her, she just stood there catching flies. Ever since that incident she has been as nice as pie to me. I've always said she might be a good pharmacist but a lousy manager. She has great staff in there and they would be more suitable as mamagement material.

I've never been in there. I go to Boots. What annoys me there is people asking the assistants for medical advice, keeping me waiting while I'm trying to get something for the weekend.

The pharmacist in Baker's is a miserable cow, she shouldn't be doing this job if she doesn't like it. Part of being a manager/pharmacist is being friendly and available to speak to customers and being professional. I once heard her say "the bloody bitch" under her breath to another staff member about an elderly woman in the shop, who was unhappy about something. Unforgivable in my opinion. Let's all boycott Baker's!

I must add that the "medical assistants" at bakers are trained technicains who can advise on medical issues, the medicine counter assitants are also trained to give basic medical advice.... Any thing which is out of their depth is usually referred to the pharmacist.

If your really unhappy with the pharmacist why don't you complain to the PCT and something might get done!!

She has been reported but nothing seems to happen, the fact that she's still there proves that. As for the trained technicians i totally agree with you chocolate. They are friendly, helpful and cant fault them at all.
