Network Rail Vandalism

On Tuesday Network Rail informed residents that they will cut down "trees opposite Lewes station" this Sunday. They apologised for the "late" notification. They did not specify which trees. No info was found on their website either. Southern employees "don't know nothing." But according to one "source" it will be trees outside the Council Offices. The site of the only remaining rookery. Network Rail claim the trees are diseased.

LDC tried that one when they said they were going to cut down trees by us - clearly because they just couldn't be bothered to look after them. Fortunately we knew a tree expert who proved they were lying and they withdrew their threat.

Does anyone know who are the principal stakehoders in LDC?

Good pizza. I bumped into George Soros there only last night. He sends his regards.

We all know what a stickler you are for people keeping to the point on threads Tom.
A couple of the trees opposite the station are ash trees. Its highly likely they have ash dieback and will fall down if not felled. Given network rails attitude towards trees were just hope that someone competent is checking that they stop at just removing these.

I thought of you when I made the post Nev. I was wondering who influenced the decisions of LDC, whose name was brought up by Basil. I think around things more than along them and I know it irritates you but it's the way my mind works. In this context it was counter productive which is why I tried to correct it later and return the focus to where it belonged.

Such a profound radical and critical thinker is our TP. Without him we would be lacking the truth and blindly not "following the money".

Did there seem to be any unnecessary tree cutting?
