I have 20-25 rubble sacks of waste soil which I need removing. Mixture of sub soil, low grade top soil and a very small amount of hardcore. £60-80 is my budget - anyone interested?
Can send a photo on requests and if you post an e mail address.

Please make sure they are licensed, or the stuff may end up scattered around the countryside.

Sara you'd be better to advertise them on Freegle or Facebook. I think your budget and the weight of the soil would leave little profit for a Man with a van large enough to carry the 10 - 12 hundredweight you have. I could take maybe 6 for my own garden ( filling the bottom of a raised bed) but it needs to be easy access for me - no steps

Minimum charge at Lights for waste is £90
So you just need to find a flytipper

Hi Sara,
My name is Colin and I do general handyman work in the East Sussex area. I do garden waste removal and am licensed and can remove what you described in your price range.
If you're interested do give me a call on 07964041941 to discuss

Good post, Colin. I know our local tip will only accept 6 bags of hardcore/soil per month. I would have thought landfill would be needing soil/hardcore, but I'm probably years out of date, what with rubbish being burned to generate electricity etc. I shall have to look on the net and see what happens to waste today.

Wow you win the stupid comment of the year Wilfred...
"20-25 rubble sacks of waste soil", "Please make sure they are licensed, or the stuff may end up scattered around the countryside. "...
Do you see the irony?

Not really. 25 rubble sacks would be quite unsightly.

Hi Sara I should be able to help you out with this, are you able to give me a buzz or drop me a text on 07956 111 758. Thanks Indi.

Stupid comment of the year goes directly to you. Utter moron for that. Fly tipping is a terrible blight on our country side. It's not just the contents of the bags, it's the actually bags, broken gates and other vandalism. Narrow minded tools like you think this is OK? Bloody know it all.

Yes if soil ended up "scattered around the countryside" it would be the crime of the century...
Let's call webbo and identify the OP, we can report her to the police in advance, they can make sure she only uses a licensed service.
Yes what a productive use of everyone's time, but damn it, if it stops the risk of people tipping soil in the countryside, it's totally worth it.

In the Argus last week there was a story where the fire service were delayed getting to an RTA because someone had dumped soil and rubble down a lane and the fire engine couldn't get through.

Blatant does have a bit of a point, hysteria over soil possibly being dumped in a field.
The funniest bit is he’s obviously winding you up and you’re letting him.
