Bad Times At The Shelley's Hotel

I recently stayed at the Shelley's Hotel in Lewes which markets itself as a 4 star establishment.
The hotel did not provide a decent level of service, the curtains in my room were broken resulting in sunlight coming in at 5am.
The result being a broken night sleep.
When I went into breakfast I was served the smallest piece of haddock ever.
I raised a complaint before leaving and was told there was no manager on site but that he would be in contact with me.
He wasn't and failed to respond to subsequent emails/phone calls.
This hotel is damaging the reputation of the town of Lewes.
It is clearly being run down and poorly managed.
No correction not managed at all.

Exactly how small was your Haddock. Same size as your Codpiece?

Shelly has joined the group made up of The White Hart, Pelham House and The Late Crown. Sliding downhill rapidly.

Shut the curtains properly and order something else. Curtains and haddock aren't exactly hallmarks of it all going to pot

To be honest, all the lewes hotels are damaging the reputation of Lewes. Take your pick. Probably the Premier Inn is okay.

You certainly can’t deal with the old hag on reception who thinks hers doesn’t stink , pointless trying to complain to her she’ll try and turn it round to make it the customers fault. My guess is there will be a mysterious fire one day , with only one guest inside no staff , work it out
