Have meant to for a while, but just checked Google Earth & there's no sign of a pond (on a hill !) at Resting Oak Hill just north of McBeans Orchid place on A275. There used to be those military vehicles there including the amphibious DUKW. Either side of these houses there are still the duck warning signs. Never seen a duck there, & now the DUKW has gone too. I wonder who got the sign set up ?
