Anyone interested in helping me form a social group for over 45' in Lewes. Not a dating agency. maybe meet at a local pub once a month and organise outings. Walks, theatre meals out. I know there are similar groups in Brighton and Hayward Heath. Would like to have opinions.

Many single people over 45 have many married/ in relationship friends. Would be great to meet single people to make friends.

There are many 45plus people men and women in the same situation, thought would use this forum to explore if there was a need for a group of this kind.

That can be a problem, however will only need a few helpers. Meeting once a month does not need any planning. Maybe 1st Monday of Month. All members will be encouraged to come up with ideas for outings. Communicate by email probably.

I used to go to something like this in Yorkshire...and also Newcastle. It was fun. Some couples went too just for the social scene. There was things like a whodunit evening at a pub and walking, climbing days etc. Good luck with it :-)
