Having seen this thread every year for I know not how long, I was properly organised this year. I got a group of friends together who habitually go to all the firesides, made sure all had similar smartphones, and got everyone to film the entire display from each Society - all from approx 75m away. Spent today looking at the videos.
The winner - Commercial, by some way. Far more impressive than the last time I went to their display a few years ago.

Cliffe will tell you Cliffe's were the best and will spend the whole year wearing Cliffe shirts to prove it. I heard that next year it will be Cliffe, sponsored by Bills. lol

I have to agree with you big..ive seen many displays and most of the other societies over the years but Commercials this year was amazing and the best one of the night by far, i always hear it all year long how amazing Cliffes display is and it gets boring having it shoved in your face for 12 months, i never hear the commercial lot bragging for a whole 12 months they just get on with it, good one commercial and we look forward to next years !
