Just by chance when flicking through the channels last night I watched a film titled "Female Agents". It was french with sub-titles. Based on the true story of five female resistance workers in the final few days leading up to D-Day (6th June 1944).
I missed the first 10 minutes or so but it was a really good film. A terrific script, the casting of the 5 women and their fellow french resistance workers was spot on. Keep an eye out for it to be repeated, I will certainly watch it again.

Film Buff - You're unreal, thank you for that. I will watch complete film later today. It really was one of the best films I have watched on TV for a long time.

Thought I'd pop in to say that I loved the hunky Italian men,the nice operatics...
Beautiful Italian scenery...Didn't think much of the ageing prosthetics on Al Pacino and the whole film was lost on me.And I watched it beginning to end.
What a shame. Godfather 3 definately 'isn't the best one'...
Now watching 100 worst plastic surgery shockers on E4 for a bit of light relief.
