Hello all, please don't forget, in your haste to reply to all the fracking threads, that Santon are holding another of their well sesearched "workshops" on Saturday. You may be feeling as jaded as everone else about the prospects of this town getting what it needs (a flood defence and some affordable homes for the young, with maybe a cinema and some art/entertainment). Please go and state what you want, it all adds to what the National Park can push for. This town needs jobs, not just few more shops, proper jobs. On the industrial estate as it is now there are lots of real jobs which will get pushed out of town by the developers, or in some cases close down because an affordable rent cannot be found to sustain the company.
