Another full-colour issue of this useless rag using money that could have paid for a pedestrian crossing at the station. Has anyone found anything useful - that is, if anyone even reads it? From what I can see it's just ESCC posting a lot of website links and telephone numbers. Not even the rubbish-collection days over bank holidays, or the latest cuts to bus services, are listed, let alone more useful information like how to avoid being killed by a car whilst walking to the station.....

I was interested to note that by (pressumably) buying a full page advert in the magazine, Drusillas is being promoted by our impartial, tax funded Council as the first in a list of family attractions in the 'what's on' page.
No conflict of interest there then. Wonder how other ESCC tax paying businesses feel about such a cosy arrangement.

Why is everybody always so negative on here. It's a cheap council rag that I felt actually had some good information. And the comment about drusillas is just stupid, if they can fund some of the paper by putting in adverts, then why not, and there was not any real prominence on the what's on page, just one of a list. It seems there is always something to moan about! No wonder the the council make-up looked so blue.
