Wood cutting - HELP!

I have a coffee table that I wish to cut down to make into a shelf and I am on the search for someone with a rotary saw that could do this for me. I could attempt to hand cut it but find that I always get a wibbly wobbly line and a rough edge, hence my desire for a rotary saw.
I do not need to borrow the saw (as I can take the piece of wood to the saw), I just need someone with a saw and willing disposition!
Wenban's will not oblige as wood cut there has to be purchased from their store.
Any suggestions?
