Why the pop at the Landport

As an incomer to Lewes I am amazed at the people having a pop at the Landport. It is like utopia compared to some places I have seen. Anyway I thought it was the De Montfort that all you snobs should have a dig at. Single mothers on benefit,unemployment its got the lot.
