So I don't have a washing machine that can fit my duvet and there is no longer a launderette in Lewes. Does anyone have any sensible suggestions about where to get a duvet cleaned? Thank you!

Theres a coin-op style launderette in Seaford - or at least, there was last time we washed our duvets...
Close to the junction of Broad St and High St (I think thats the names of the roads).
Stick duvet in machine, stroll to beach for half an hour sitting in the sunshine then amble back and collect it.

last time i took mine to Hassocks dry cleaners, they wanted paying up front, as so many people then didnt collect them, as its cheaper to buy a new one !!

I'm pretty sure that Simon at the Iron Works will launder a duvet. Worth a call.

The Dry Cleaners at the Train Station in Lewes is worth a try. I used to take my quilts there to be Dry Cleaned.

can recommend Goldfinch's.
They also do service washes, so no need to go off and find a laundrette!
Doggies get sweeties too!!
