The invasion of Plumpton is happening again, right now. A trainload of 14 - 16 year olds have just arrived and are wandering around looking for the "Quarry". Probably a couple of hundred in total?

Did you mean plumpton or plumpton green, plumpton doesn't have a train station. Do you actually know where you live?

Yes, I do know where I live. Plumpton Station is in Plumpton Green. Anyhow, judging by what is laying around this morning, I would be a very concerned parent.

OK, for those who missed the original post. There seems to be a regular weekend gathering of young teenagers around a lake near to Plumpton Green. For some reason, they have nicknamed it "the Quarry". Sometimes there must be upward of 200 of them, arriving by train early evening and partying all night. Debris in the mornings includes carrier bags, empty Strongbow cans, crisp packets, hoodies, tee shirts and the occasional item of underwear.

Getting pissed/camping on the Downs, woods or Common is standard rite of passage for rural kids. Yes they should clean up but otherwise give them a break.

It's not illegal for 200 teenagers to get off the train, nor is it illegal for 200 teenagers to party in the woods, nor is it illegal to be noisy. If you're so very bothered and feel the need to waste police time due to rubbish on the floor and noise for 20 minutes why not just put a bin there? Would help a lot, A* to me Stop being so sad and complaining about teenagers having fun just because you have nothing better to do with your life. And those of you saying you want to join in, you can, as if that's going to stop us. We would enjoy your company xx
Halloween is very frightening! Watch your back adult so of plumpton because the Plumpton Youth are going to be more alive than ever!
