What on earth is wrong?

What is it with this country? The BBC under attack. Boris Johnson hands £10k of public money to Jennifer Arcuri because he fancies the idea of shagging a woman 30 years younger than him. That fraudulent act vanishes in a puff of smoke. Then he rides on a red bus covered in lies. Then he smothers and refuses to release a report on Russian interference. I can see a certain amount of consistency in all of this. It's an agenda... It's weird... It's flowing without logic that goes beyond narcissism and greed.

Is this the same Boris that got elected with a massive majority?
Look what the alternative was;
Terrorist sympathiser
Anti Semite
Brexit liar
Marxist
Marxist policies
Fairytale manifesto
Must I paint you picture of why Boris won?

I tell you what Mark, unless Labour get their act together, you are going to be stuck with Boris for a long long time. Why on earth are they electing a new leader before they work out why they lost?

Well, Blatant, that was certainly the alternative as presented by newspapers and other media controlled by right wing billionaires. But then they would say that, wouldn't they? They didn't mention awkward things like Boris going to the unveiling of a statue to the notorious anti-semite Nacy Astor, just before the election, did they? Not a peep from any of the usual suspects about that. Because, you know, it was never about anti-semitism at all. It was about protecting the wealth of the super-rich from Corbynism.
Anyway, remember that Boris and his Brexit Party friends actually polled less than half the votes. His Parliamentary majority is a function of a broken electoral system.
And if the Russia Report had been released, he probably wouldn't have been elected even with the billionaire's control of the media. the longer they suppress it, the worse we can guess it is.

Mr. Johnson's government was returned by a landslide majority. The reason the accusations at the head of this discussion are not mentioned is because they are irrelevant and false. The public wants an end to such sniping that distracts from proper reporting of the Conservative government's achievements and how British people can get behind the country restoring its uniquely British qualities.
The entire BBC should have been closed and disbanded on the first morning of this government, by Statutory Instrument. Its employees are lazy, politically hard-left and do not represent who we, the British people, really are. All that it does is already replicated in the private and charitable sectors, or is simply not necessary. Many of its staff should be on trial for sedition and brought before a court of the people they've lied to.
It is a viper among us. I even read that, despite Britain escaping the Common Market to become an independent country once more, the BBC is STILL being given European money. No wonder its programmes are so anti-British. They're paid propaganda from Brussels! How can we allow this to be seen by our children?

One might add that you probably watch the BBC! Of course Boris is corrupt, it's the grand tradition of British politics. Turn off the TV and read some serious history, it's only slightly more boring than the rubbish on the box. You might also find that climate catastrophes aren't a recent phenomenon. The more you study the past, the more you understand the present and the less you are misled by the latest loudmouths attention seekers.

Blatant Liar... Do actually STILL believe that nonsense. Corbyn a jew-hater? That was the idea that Pritti Patel brought back from Israel after her mysterious trip to the holy land. It was explained to her over there.

Mark - It wasn't necessary for Patel to go to Israel for her orders. The appointment of Mark Regev at the Israeli Embassy in London was to direct the campaign here. I assumed that was common knowledge.

Tom - I have studied the past. I have a degree in Zoology, which involved a lot of paleontology, and took a geology option. I've also recently completed an online climatology course. Sure, there have been climate catastropes in the past. But never in the history of humanity have CO2 levels been this high, and probably they have never ever risen this fast, ever - not in billions of years. It's the speed of change that is so dangerous, because it doesn't give time for life to adapt. We are in completely new territory, now, essentially walking - and sending our children and all the rest of life on Earth - into a minefield.

Stephen, I think that you're on the wrong thread. But you are right. Tom likes to subscribe to controversial positions. Some of them are borderline insane - as in this case. Returning to the Res, Basil, your right. I've been googling but there was a weird, unexplained Pritti Patel trip to Israel (a holiday?) It happened just before Jeremy Corbyn became a Jew hater. She came back and then, I think that there was LayingWreathsonHamasGravesgate in Africa. It was about 2 weeks later as I recall. She might have needed those 2 weeks to discuss things with Murdoch's people?

Steven, according to my reading temperatures on earth were much higher in the past ,going back thousands of years, when CO2 levels were much lower. Real Climate Science has a lot of raw data from the past.It also shows with comparison data from the present how graphs have been manipulated. Tell your children not to worry, it's extremely bad for them. When I was a child they were scaring us silly over a nuclear Armageddon, it's disgusting.

Mark, you need to calm down a bit. Do you realise you are the only person on this thread who has labelled Corbyn as a Jew hater, and you have done it twice!

You're right about the thread, Mark, but I couldn't resist rising to Tom's comment earlier. Tom, the wesbite you need is the reputable realclimate.org, not realclimatescience.com which is run by a notorious climate denier called Tony Heller, who also goes by the alias Steve Goddard. I'm just leaving here a link to an excellent online video based course, free unless you want a certificate. I'll now leave this thread alone!

Watson, I had a good dig at realclimate and found it very difficult to understand. Tony Heller, alias the evil mastermind Moriarty, denier of everything good and wholesome in existence,on the other hand presents his evidence in a manner the layman can understand. I fear that a jury of twelve good men and true could easily be fooled by his simplicity and suspect that realclimate was trying to baffle them with science. May I suggest that you master your understandable repugnance and visit his noisome lair and see for yourself his shameless utterings. Take your revolver and be prepared for anything but if you should be reluctant to face the foe I will understand and not think the less of you. The game is still afoot, yours, Holmes.
