Having seen both schools for open days, I am torn.
Can people please give me their experience - bad or good? I keep being told I’ll get a feel for the place but the feelings are pretty 50/50!

It's primary school. If you are that concerned, do some proper research. FFS.

What is it with some people?
With their kid's education at stake, this numpty thinks it's a good idea to ask complete strangers on an anonymous forum.
Good lord.

What a pathetic comment local. Why shouldn't someone ask if anyone has valid experience and possibly use it as part of their decision making. You are someone who instantly know what is right I'm sure, but many people like to consider other people's views before forming their own opinion.

Nothing wrong with considering other opinions, but those of complete strangers? Madness.

Yes local. Even get the views of complete strangers, assess their possible value and maybe use it depending on the circumstances. This forum doesn't just exist for you to spout your fully formed ideas. Some people like to know what others think to help them develop their own ideas.

I went to these schools when they were Lewes County grammar school for girls Nd have always held the opinion that the oldest part, now used by southover is dark and overbearing. I was a titchy 11 year old and it felt oppressive and it hasn't changed. My youngest grandson goes there and sometimes says it's dark. Education wise I think they are level pegging. Wonderful outside spaces.
