We were let down by our venue 2 weeks ago so now we are again looking for Sussex land that can accommodate a family wedding celebration for the weekend of the 22nd May 2015. We will be putting up a couple of marquees and there will be camping and a few camper vans. Out-house, electricity, facilities and parking desirable but not essential. We are a responsible and professional middle-aged couple with lots of experience of putting on events that respect the local area and locals alike. Please call us to chat about any thoughts or ideas you have. Call Drew on 07957 191137. Many thanks , Drew and Ruth

Sorry it's the Tin tabernacle in Barcombe. If you want camping nearby you could try farmer Crispin Tebbutt, who owns the land adjoining the Ouse at Barcombe. There's numerous private hippy campsites locally as well but not sure they would cater for wedding parties

Beechwood hall in cooksbridge sounds ideal for you. Eco friendly village hall, children's playground stunning view of the downs often has wedding marquees on the field. Check out hamsey parish website. Camping will require permission of trustees and not always possible but not a problem as lower tulleyswell farm next door is a small caravan club site and also has camping.

Love the open invitation! It's great to see a space where people can freely share their thoughts. Looking forward to hearing... more
