Wallands School in the 70's

Anyone go to the Wallands school in the mid to late 70's. I did and loved it (bit of a doss really). Was just reminiscing and wondered what it is like now. Does it still have that tiny freezing cold swimming pool? I loved the row of small conifers on the playing field. They are gigantic trees now!!

Yes I also went to Wallands school in the late 70s, and so did my children for a while. it has hardly changed a bit with only a few additions for disabled access etc etc. still has same pool but now has enclosed changing rooms rather than the fenced areas for getting changed in in the freezing cold. None of the teachers have survived there though! all retired now I expect.

I would imagine the point is....that Lewesian lovely went to a school that was supposed to be for "thicko's" yet he/she has a PhD in science.
You must've been in the remedial class at Wallands if you couldn't work that one out So What !!!!!!!!

I did not find the comment funny. What I found funny was your pompous response.

Only one thing to say, at the age of 4 years many children do not have a say on what school they go to, and if you did, WELL DONE YOU. Wallands education was very good in the 70s and seems alot better than education today with no punishment and no teacher respect.
After Wallands I went to Priory which I also thought was very good. I now have good well paid job, house and family.
NOWT WRONG WITH WALLANDS.....................
