I'm sure I'm not alone in seeing the usual offenders (Range Rovers 4 X 4s etc.) parking in the Taxis Only bay outside Waitrose, the hubby sitting there on his iPhone, waiting for the wifey to do the shopping. Obviously can't be arsed to drive all the way into the car park (which at 18.30, when I was there, has plenty of spaces). One day I will climb into their car and demand a lift home!

We would all do the same in the same circumstances I am sure. No real problem here is there?

What 'circumstances' are they then? Too lazy to drive into the car park?

Where are the bluebottles when you need them? Finishing work just after 6 in the upper High St.- One car in the disabled bay, not showing a blue badge, opposite the castle entrance; another fully on the pavement across the road just before the Rights of man; and to cap it all, one parked blocking the path at the top of all those steps up into the unmarked car park by the bowling green.

I still dont really see what the problem is. Unless its being made up. Walk along Fisher Street some evenings. I doubt you could get a service vehicle through there in a hurry even though all the cars are on the pavement.
