Im absolutely discussed with E.S.C.C. and the lack of gritting on the pavements & roads, theres been 2 very dodgy near crashes into the shop on Leicester Road and 2 people have slipped over this morning at that corner. The roads and pavements are like ice rinks and people are slipping all over the place. YET! They still expect everyone to go to work and get on with it.
If they had taken action earlier then we wouldnt be in this position!!!

LDC & ESCC . . What a bunch of losers you are . . Took my wife an hour and a half to walk from Landport to the Cliffe . . How come the Lewes House and ESCC car park was clear . We have not had post or buses for three days because of your incompetence to keep the roads clear . If there is only a minute chance of ice then grit the roads before it freezes not afterwards . Simples . . Also grit the pavements as well, That way posties etc wouldnt fall over and break bones . Im assuming that we will be getting a reduction in the council tax bill for services not recieved !

There was a grit shortage after the cold weather in February, what little they have now should be used on the higher council tax band streets first, it's only fair.
