What is there to do this Bank Holiday?
I thought about going to Rudgewick Steam Fare, but probably won't.
Laughton Steam Fare 12th September is a bit closer so I shall probably go there.
I haven't been to a Steam Fare for about 25 years, so should be fun?
Isn't there something going on in Lewes apart from Arty Farty Party In The Parky.
OK. There is no Arty Farty Party in Lewes as far as I know.
I'm a bit bored of them, not that I have been.
But WHAT has Lewes Council or others laid on for Bank Holiday.

Festival of Transport at Hellingly. I've never been but I'm told it's quite good. It had better be as I'm missing Lewes playing at Bromley to take the kids there. Anything for a quiet life though.

Festival of Transport in Hellingly? Isn't Helligly all about mad people?Transport to where? Where to do they bring them? I heard Dwyle Flunking is on at the LA.

It was good actually. I might even take my old classic and show it next year.

The last thing I want to see is 'Lewes council' laying on something for the Bank Holiday. I prefer councils to stick to their basic tasks and try to be good at them rather than getting involved in entertainment.

That's your opinion Ted, I thought that "Councils" should undertake anything the public see fit, public events included.

Yes, that's my opinion Terry. That's what we do on Lewes Forum - put our opinins there. By the way, how do 'the public' tell 'Councils' what they 'see fit' for them to do as most of their responsibilities are put in legislation by central government?

QUOTE OF THE MOMENT
I like the fact it's safe enough to leave windows open and shops don't need to put grills up at night.
